driver education in TexasDrive Smart Driving School is located at 4750 South Colony Blvd. The Colony Texas. We will be offering our Grand Opening Teen Driver Ed Class on the following date.

We will begin Office hours July 10th. and welcome you stop by and see our beautiful new location.  If you would like to pre-register for our teen driver ed class please feel free to fill out the contract below. If you would like to check our school out, please stop by during normal business hours and meet one of the owners and let us show you what has made us Carrollton’s, top driving school that now wants to bring that same good reputation and quality of service to The Colony.

Our teen driving school program includes:

  • 32 Hours of Classroom and 14 hours of in car instruction.
  • the Learners Permit Test
  • eye test
  • Texas Drivers Handbook
  • and the Official Department of Public Safety Road Test.

All at No Additional Cost.

If you are Parent taught or Online we provide an easy transfer service so that you can finish your driver education at our school.

If the student needs to miss certain class day, alternate make-up days can be arranged.

Students taking Classes to get a permit need to get a Verification of Enrollment from their high school attendance counselor. Normally this document is valid for 30 days after issuance, however, if a student is taking a summer class they should get the Verification of Enrollment the last week of class. It will be valid all summer.

Required paperwork:

  • Student must have one (1) of the following:

Passport, State ID, or Birth Certificate

  • Although not required to attend class, the student must obtain a verification of enrollment from their high school attendance councilor to be presented to the Department of Public Safety in order to get a learners permit.

On the first day of class student should bring a spiral notebook and a pen or pencil.

To enroll, simply fill out the contract, you will then be guided to our secure server to make payment.
