Requirements to Road Test

If you’re doing your road test at a third party testing site, such as Drive Smart Driving School, a valid permit issued by the DPS is required.Si realiza su examen práctico en una escuela aprobada por el DPS, como Drive Smart Driving School, se requiere un permiso válido emitido por el DPS.

If you finished the teen program, you must watch the teen impact video, even if you turned 18 already. For students doing the adult program, you are required to watch the adult video.

Si terminaste el programa para adolescentes, debes ver el video de impacto para adolescentes, incluso si ya cumpliste 18 años. Los estudiantes que realizan el programa para adultos deben ver el video para adultos.

If you finished the teen program, this certificate, the DE 964 is required for your road test.Si terminó el programa para adolescentes, se requiere este certificado, el DE 964, para su examen práctico.

Pricing/Precios

  • Road tests are $70
  • For appointments schedule for same day/walk in, the cost is $90 and cash only. If same day appointments are available. Same day appointments are not applicable on weekends.
  • Walk In Road tests in Spanish are $100, Monday-Friday only depending on availability.
  • Examenes de manejo $70
  • Para citas programadas para el mismo día/sin cita previa, el costo es de $90 y solo en efectivo. Si hay citas disponibles para el mismo día. Las citas el mismo día no aplican los fines de semana.
  • Examenes de manejo del mismo dia en español cuestan $100, de lunes a viernes únicamente, según disponibilidad.
