Road Test Requirements

Valid learner license/permit Bring the original. Photocopies are not accepted.
Required course certificate Bring the original DE-964 or ADE-1317, when applicable.
Impact Texas Drivers certificate Must be completed within the required timeframe for your road test.
Current vehicle registration Registration may be printed or shown electronically.
Current proof of insurance The vehicle used for the road test must have valid insurance.
Safe, road-ready vehicle Bring a safe, road-ready vehicle with current registration and proof of insurance. If needed, you may use one of our vehicles for your road test at no additional cost.

Avoid a Rescheduling Fee

Missing required documents, arriving more than 5 minutes late, or bringing an unsafe vehicle may require rescheduling and a $35 rescheduling fee.
