Complete your 32-Hour State of Texas Classroom Requirement with us!

All of our classrooms have a live instructor, you will have an option of live stream or in person. Your student will get the benefit of a live classroom instructor without leaving the safety of their home. Drive times will need to wait until a permit has been obtained, however, there is a 32-classroom requirement that can be done right now.

Teen driver education in The Colony, Texas. Many driving schools located in the Frisco, Little Elm, and The Colony area offer a teen program; but they have additional costs for services like books, permits, and road testing fees. The only additional expense will be at The Texas Department of Public Safety for the permit and driver’s license issuance.

Our Complete teen driving school program includes the following:

  • 32 Hours of Classroom. (This is a 4-week classroom)
  • 14 hours of in-car instruction. (To be scheduled once the student obtains their permit).
  • The Official Department of Public Safety Learners Permit Test .
  • Texas Drivers Handbook (PDF format).

Drive Smart Driving School is located: at 4750 South Colony Blvd. The Colony Texas.

To enroll, simply fill out the contract, you will then be guided to our secure server to make payment. You can also come into our office and make payment in person.

Students must attend all class days 1-16, be it a 3 or 4-week class.  After they receive their permit, we can begin to schedule their required drive times.

Be sure to get a Verification of Enrollment from your high school attendance counselor. If you get it during the last week of class, it will be good all summer. You will need this form in order to get a permit.

If you are Parent taught or Online we provide an easy transfer service so that you can finish your driver’s education at our school.

If the student needs to miss a class day, alternate make-up days can be arranged.
